I am a BIG fan of curly hair and anything that looks afrocentric. I have been wearing my hair curly for a little over 2 years and I think I could never go straight again, it just doesn't suit me/my personality. Teyana twitpic'd pictures of her new hair-style which is of course curly but cut on one side and long on the other, kind of like Pepa's (from Salt & Pepa) hair-cut in the early 90's. I love it, she also has a few streaks of honey blond in the front to add a summery look. If you want teyana's type of curl texture try a deep wave and comb it out (this is what I always purchase/wear) or you can try a wet&wavy or a kinkycurl. Now Wet & Wavy PLEASE DO NOT PUT WATER IN YOUR HAIR, that goes for any curly hair for any matter. I use hawaiian silky products ex. the 14-1 curl activator and wet/wavy products. African-American Hair textures are very different from Caucasian textures of hair, good hair or not.
These products I've listed are inexpensive and don't run over $10 bucks!
