Forever 21 Plus Sized Jeans.

I've been buying bits and pieces from http://www.forever21.com/ for awhile now and I was so glad they launched Faith 21 last year! They recently renamed "Faith 21" to "Forever 21 Plus Sizes". The sizes run from a woman's 12-20. I purchased a pair of jeans awhile back and they were so comfortable laced with great material and just enough spandex but they were too big :( I decided to go down a size and give Faith 21's jeans a try again and I must say I was so pleased I bought 2 blue denim pair, not to mention they are so affordable $12.50 for us curvy women. What a STEAL?

Candid Picture of the day: Nicki Minaj

I absolutely love Nicki in leopard print. Leopard print is one of my favorite prints, so everytime I see a celebrity wearing it, I give 'Kudos'. Last summer, Chris Brown was one of the few men celebrities who introduced the trend for men. This year Swiss Beatz (Producer), also wore the print on a red carpet.

Which brings me down to Nicki. She's always daring, just like Lady Gaga, her grammy attire fit her personality well. This photoshoot was done for V magazine.



Link Crazy!

Do you like link chains and other things as much as I do? I was browsing http://www.girlprops.com/ and I had to buy these chain link braclets in silver and gold. They were 6.99/each which was perfect because it's hard trying to find chain accessories besides at a vintage/thrift store or a place that would be a tad bit pricey. These braclets fit 7-9", it looks small, but there is a long extender. My chain link necklaces were purchased off of http://www.etsy.com/ .

Chain reactions have been in style for quite some time now, so if you're an 80's lover or a vintage lover, this is a "Go purchase".

Wedge Mania!

I recently purchased these wedges and I must say, anything that reminds me of a Jefferey Campbell shoe, I definitely will buy them! I finally wore these shoes last weekend and they are sooo comfortable it's ridiculous. I began searching today because they also come in black and I just had to have them in both colors. When I went perfume testing last weekend, I happened to come across a great deal by Macy's for Beyonce`'s first fragrance "Heat". She recently had a new fragrance come out called "Heat Rush". I was instantly drawn to Heat. I lovvvvve the smell, I highly recommend it to women who love a fierce, sultry smell.

Around the world we dont just celebrate Black History in the month of February, we celebrate all year.

Here are some little known facts:

After African-American performer Josephine Baker expatriated to France, she famously smuggled military intelligence to French allies during World War II. She did this by pinning secrets inside her dress, as well as writing them in invisible ink on her sheet music.

 Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated on friend Maya Angelou's birthday on April 4th, 1968. Angelou stopped celebrating her birthday for many years afterward, and sent flowers to King's widow every year until Mrs. King's death in 2006

Legendary singer James Brown performed in front of a televised audience in Boston the day after Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. Brown is often given credit for preventing riots with the performance

W.E.B. Du Bois died one day before Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his 'I Have a Dream' speech in 1963 Washington.

"Strange Fruit", the song about black lynching in the south made famous by blues singer Billie Holiday, was originally a poem written by Abel Meeropol, a Jewish schoolteacher from the Bronx.

Perfume Review: Queen by Queen Latifah

O.M.G. I smelled Queen Latifah's perfume awhile back and loved the scent. I went perfume testing over the weekend and one of my mother's friends said she didn't like this scent at all and she had a brand new bottle. I quickly said "Give it to meee", lol.

Queen's perfume reminds me of Beyonce's "Heat" just a little bit. It has a sexy fierce smell and it lasts.
