Lipstick Diaries.

Hi everyone! I haven't blogged at all since the New Year & I feel so bad. Well I'm back and I have tons of things (re-volving around fashion of course), to blog and share my thoughts about.

Lately I've been trying to re-invent something on myself since the New year started and I decided to go with "Makeup". Why? Because I figured, why not try to spunk up my image with a new face attitude, Lol.

I started with Lipstick and I decided to go with M.A.C. I just purchased a nude tone lipstick called 'Creme d’Nude.

It is a creamy, opaque beigey-nude shade that works well for a warmer nude lip.

I also purchased M.A.C.'s 'Viva La Glam Gaga'  lipglass to go over my Pink Nouveaux lipstick also by M.A.C.

Both products retailed for $14.50/each from M.A.C. Cosmetics and I will be doing a tester as soon as they arrive. The best thing about puchasing certain products from M.A.C. is that 100% of the purchase price goes to help men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS.

Rihanna: Reb’L Fleur

Are you dolls ready for Rihanna's new fragrance that comes out on Jan 25th 2011?

Well I am, i'm so excited because I love Rihanna as a singer and a fashion icon. I hope it smells wonderful, here are the details:

"I believe a woman should dare to be different, willing to live her life for herself and not for other people," Rihanna stated in press release. "This fragrance is about my passion for individuality — being expressive and empowering, yes, but also emotional and intriguing. I promise you Reb’L Fleur will not be easily forgotten."

Beginning January 25, you can purchase the fragrance at Macy's department stores, with prices ranging from $49 (1.7 oz. bottle) to $59 (3.4 oz. bottle).

Update 2/1/11: I went to the mall over the weekend because I was hesistant on buying RiRi's perfume online without smelling it. I tested her perfume because I was so excited about purchasing it, but when it hit my skin, I did not like the smell at all, I was so disappointed :(

As much as I love Rihanna, I refuse to buy it just to have invested in something she put out. I also heard that after 2-3 hrs or so, the smell fades away and doesn't last! Have you dolls purchased her fragrance? If so, leave feedback in a comment, I'm dying to know other people's opinions of Reb'L Fleur.
