The Finale of BasketBall Wives.

Basketball Wives has finally come to an halt and I must say that I love Shaunie and Jennifer the most. On style I would definitely go with Jennifer & Evelyn. Royce is a real down to earth girl AND Gloria, well I'm going to keep it funky, the Bitch is raw and cutthroat, just like she's plain & simple. All I will comment and voice my opinion on is that Gloria knows her sister is guilty and yes family should stick by family, but when you are wrong, you're just wrong. She points the finger out at Royce based on rumors, hearsay, but honestly that's the same situation her sister's in, the only difference is, I think Gloria's sister situation is worse. How dare she ? She's fake/phony and she can't make decisions on her own. Let Matt  jeopardize everything knowing his sister-in-law is just as worse.

Candid Camera, Nicki M.

Nicki Minaj and her rumored boyfriend a.k.a. her hype man were spotted in LAX in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon headed to Miami for Memorial Day Weekend, where she will beforming at "Diddy's Best of the Best" concert.
I like that she's toned down her image, I bet you Diddy has something to do with that o_O. I like!
Love all the Louis V, :D

Sex and the City 2 Movie Review.

Yesterday, I finally got to see my favorite characters grace the screen and I can say I am definitely satisfied with the movie/outcome. I heard the hype of the movie wasn't by far great and the movie didn't have a plot, etc. etc. I think people were expecting too much of an outcome basing it on the first movie and hearsay opinions of what should happen in the 2nd movie. I loved every bit & piece of the fashion displayed and also Miranda really suprised this time around, she was more spontaneous and happy! My favorite characters are Carrie and of course Sex lust Samantha, lol. If there's à trois I would be more than grateful, happy and willing to definitely spend my money the first week, more than once.

Here's a Review I found via, internet.

Carrie is married to Mr Big and they are struggling with the monotony of monogamy and routine. Miranda and Steve are still together and she is still overworked. Charlotte is a mother to two young girls, who are stretching her nerves despite the services of a full-time nanny. And Samantha is as lascivious as ever, trying to stave off the effects of menopause with a cocktail of vitamins and topical creams.

Happily, the movie starts in New York, spiritual home to Carrie and her three best friends. There is an ostentatious same-sex wedding where Liza Minnelli performs a hilarious Beyonce rendition but then the plot, or lack thereof, begins to grate. Sadly, the action moves to Abu Dhabi after Samantha scores an all-expenses-paid trip for the foursome.

They bask in the delights of the east even as they make digs at how backwards the Arab world is and how oppressed they believe Muslim women to be. They laugh at a woman in a burqa as she tries to eat french fries and wave condoms around a marketplace during the call to prayer. When their ordeal, and ours, is over, they find themselves back — and blissfully happy — in the "home of the free".

There are moments of nostalgia. When Carrie runs into Aiden and falls to pieces you remember why you loved her. Miranda and Charlotte talk about the trials of motherhood with a credibility of feeling. And the wardrobe is truly beautiful.

*But in the end you can't help but feel that these girlfriends have well and truly outstayed their welcome.

? + style = Get in or Fit in

I've been around alot of people prior to me moving to Dallas, Tx and I have to say I can count on my hand the amount of people who actually display the definition of fashion. Fashion is a display of behavior of your style, it is custom and can change at any given time. The fashion trends, well I can't really say "fashion", are ridiculous, honestly. There is no display of uniqueness or a make or form of anything, because everyone dresses the same. I am not too big into urban clothing brands, I'm more of a Vintage shopper  or runway girl & always  have been. As a young girl living in London, my Dad used to dress my sister and I in Armani and Versace. We had everything from watches, belts, the famous logo t-shirts and sweaters, I still have my
brown leather Armani
watch till this day.
Definition of Style:
Style is like an edit. You have the choice to input your ideas which form together & expresses your personality through the idea of fashion. The output is to define you and your uniqueness.
Definition of Fashion:
The prevailing mode or style, especially of dress; custom or conventional usage in respect of dress, behavior, etiquette, etc.; particularly, the mode or style usual among persons of good breeding; as, to dress, dance, sing, ride, etc., in the fashion.
So what I'm trying to say is I need a group of friends on the same level as I or higher because your inner circle is a reflection upon you. I have NO friends here in Dallas and I am very content with that. I have a few associates who are fun, witty, and have they're own sense of style, but I have a few that are lost and don't intend on being found. Sry I may sound "Blunt", but it's the truth. For Example:  Do you think Kimora Lee Simmons would hire me for an "internship" if I dressed like a hillbilly from the country ? No, not going to work out at all. When you surround yourself with positivity and inspire others whether it's to quit a bad habit, sense of style or become better at something you long-lived for, that person has a purpose in your life. They will learn something from you just like you will learn something from them.
It's obvious that people still haven't learned anything from me or just choose not too. I love motivating people because I love to see a change or just to boost confidence in an individual. It clearly makes me happy, that's why I'm in school for Fashion Merchandising, it's my passion and I couldn't love it anymore than I already do. That's why I share everything I do, buy, or see on my BLOG.
If you can't get in, fit in, only you can re-define yourself, everyone has what it takes!

Nicki Minaj for Vibe Mag 2010.

(Official Vibe June/July 2010 Cover)
Nicki looks "beautiful". She really is coming around and forming into her own. I'm excited about the actual cover (this isn't the feature cover), pictures, her interview, etc. Plus it comes out the month of my birthday, Good job Vibe!

Is that .... ?

Omg, It's the infamous Khia, lol. Wow when I came across the picture "I didn't have anything negative to say". She looks great, good look for, she definitely needs to keep this look up, better yet Khia, keep the stylist whoever styled you, kudos!
-wait I do have one slight problem, "invest in a bra" hehe, ok, ok I'm done.

What do you think?

I began browsing the net yet once again, and I came across an interview with rapper Maino. I tuned in because he was going in on model Rosa Acosta, but I wasn't interested in any of that, I was in tune with more of his thoughts. He quoted from the interview "One man's wife is another man's whore" -Do you agree Ladies & Gentlemen ?

Ashanti & Trina Setting Trends.

Ashanti at Sex and the City premiere on Monday at Radio City Hall in New York City. I love this dress for some odd reason especially the mesh and the accents. The shoes go perfectly with the dress, only I wouldn't wear them, but she looks 'gorg' overall!
Trina was spotted Sunday at Atlanta's Velvet room with Missy Elliott. Trina loves her bronzer ;) I love those shoes, the dress, eh it's okay, she's rocked better, but I definitely love her makeup. The hair is also sleek. Designers for Ashanti/Trina's attire in a min.

Trey, your side of the bed & Luda's Sex Room

I love the concept behind this video;I cried, please pray for our soldiers, country and other countries in time of need :(

Anything with Luda & Trey is CRAZY, love!

Beach Body Perfection =)

So the summer is finally approaching and I know for sure in Texas it's going to be hotter than it is now. Omg, it can't get any worse than Las Vegas heat in September geeez louise 104. I'm currently doing cardio 3-5 times a week and it's been working out very well for me. I've lost 35lbs, well probably more, I haven't weighed myself lately. I'm still in a size 18, BUT my pants are big in the leg area & I have to get them taken up at the waist area because a belt can do any justice anymore! I'm so proud of myself :D
So let me get straight to the point. These are my favorite bodies to look at for encouragement to continue on my routine throughout the summer,
"Trina"

"Teyana Taylor"
&
Last but not least,

love him!

Question of the day:

ArtWork: Kelis

Kelis dropped I shall say some of her decor for her album and there has been alot of talk behind it. From what I see/hear, people clearly don't like the idea and creativity she put behind this display of pictures for her album. In my opinion, I like it because the pictures scream "KELIS". Everyone wants the old Kelis but they have to understand artists grow and what may be a light of creativity in 2005 may not be today. It's very unique and that's what Kelis describes in my dictionary.

InStyle: Ciara

Ciara’s footwork is Versace's S/S 2010 sandals.

CiCi was spotted at the 11th Annual Maxim Hot 100 party and I love this look on her, especially the hair. Those shoes are to DIE for, and those LEGS are too :p

May 20th, 2004.

Omg, it's been 6 years today that I've been out of High School. To the Alumni class of 2004 of Warren Easton, "Happy 6th"

Lyfe spills.

Today I was up early browsing blogs & came across a particular post by Necole Bitchie  It was Lyfe's new song called "Statistics" with words of advice/truth if you can relate or never understood ladies, now you know:

25% of all men are unstable

25% of all men can’t be faithful

30% of them don’t mean what they say

and 10% of them maybe 20 are gay

That leaves you a 10% chance of ever finding your man

Rule #1 Don’t be a booty call! If he don’t respect you girl he gonna forget you girl

Rule #2 If he’s in a relationship and he will cheat on her, then he will cheat on you

Rule #3 Tell him that you are celibate and if he want some of your goodies, he’s gonna have to work for it

Rule #4 Be the person you want to find. Don’t be a nickel out here looking for a dime

Style Spotlight & Budget Fab: Meagan Good

"M.Good at party for Glee Golden Globe-Nomination"

As you can tell, Meagan Good is a BIG fan of http://www.americanapparel.com/
I've always l♥ed Meagan Good's style because she's so simple, but yet always flashy and unique. To get this look you can always find a sequin dress anywhere, rompers you will have to search a little bit more. Her shoes are from  http://www.bakersshoes.com/ or you can purchase them on http://www.makemechic.com/  for $21.00 http://www.makemechic.com/p-22431-lexus01-strech-lycra-ankle-bootie-red.aspx  for a much lower affordable price. Her makeup is always "flawless", chic and simple. She has great skin, I need her beauty/skin regimen.

"Stripper Mentality"

j/k.

I recently purchased these platform pumps for a bargain of $22 bucks, I can't believe it, lol! I had been searching high & low, but I was NOT going to spend hundreds of dollars, because I like to switch up my shoes all the time. The site I bought these from is http://www.makemechic.com/  The s/h is about $11.00, but the shoes are so inexpensive & affordable. Besides these crinkled black leather I nicknamed "Fuck Me" pumps, LOL I also purchased a grey pair that have a velcro t-strap, great for the Fall!

Teyana's New Hair & Other info.

I am a BIG fan of curly hair and anything that looks afrocentric. I have been wearing my hair curly for a little over 2 years and I think I could never go straight again, it just doesn't suit me/my personality. Teyana twitpic'd pictures of her new hair-style which is of course curly but cut on one side and long on the other, kind of like Pepa's (from Salt & Pepa) hair-cut in the early 90's. I love it, she also has a few streaks of honey blond in the front to add a summery look. If you want teyana's type of curl texture try a deep wave and comb it out (this is what I always purchase/wear) or you can try a wet&wavy or a kinkycurl. Now Wet & Wavy PLEASE DO NOT PUT WATER IN YOUR HAIR, that goes for any curly hair for any matter. I use hawaiian silky products ex. the 14-1 curl activator and wet/wavy products. African-American Hair textures are very different from Caucasian textures of hair, good hair or not.
These products I've listed are inexpensive and don't run over $10 bucks!

:.Favorite Video of the week.:

Since i've had a grown attraction to dark-skinned men this year & Mario happens to be one of them, lol. Actually i've liked Mario from the first time he ever came out. My favorite so far is OchoCinco (Chad Johnson), OMG, I him!!! This song reminds me of how i'm feeling for the week, enjoy

Spiking/Studding Leather Tutorial:

Thanks to my darling friend Alannah Scott at http://www.planeejane.blogspot.com/  spiking my leather boots for me for my birthday! We have had previous projects I've wanted her to work on, but something always comes up with me, lol. She's a Fashion Design major & she's great at what she does!! My Birthday is approaching and I am going to Maxwell's concert, I decided that I wanted an edgy look. I can't reveal exactly what I'm going to wear, because at the moment I have so many choices, but I decided that spiking/studding my shoes would complete my look. Wait patiently & in 2 weeks you shall see the finish product ; )
Here's a tutorial for spiking/studding leather, It's pretty easy!

Be Glam or Glitzy in Shades :D

I was currently browsing http://www.esty.com/ for some vintage jewelry and came across a seller who displays a handmade collection of glasses that are really affordable. Now don't get me wrong, I love 2 Bitchez Deep http://www.shop2bd.com/  KerinRose http://www.store.a-morir.com/  and CoCo & Breezy http://www.cocoandbreezy.com/ but these glasses are really flashy and inexpensive. Fringes & Wedges.

So one of my dear friends who is also blogger hip me to Top Shop Wedges/Boots last year. I was so mad that I wasn't in London since I'm from there, TopShop period are way cheaper than expected. I remember shopping on the high street going into Top Shop and purchasing a bunch of bargains. I later decided I would find cheaper ones because I know how I am with shoes period, "I wear them a few times, buy a new pair & get hooked on those and so forth". I was browsing online one day and came across these suede fringe open-toe wedges that were on sale for $12.99 at http://www.amiclubwear.com/. Perfect timing, because they were having an 80% everything must go sale. I hurried and snatched these because they were the only us10 left. Us "big feet" women know how that is? Ugh, it's so hard trying to find the right shoes, better yet the shoes that you die for, Literally, lol.
                     Fringe Open toe Wedges.
Fringed boots I diy(ed) for a concert. These boots are similar to Betsey Johnson's pink/black fringe lace-up boots.

InStyle War Trina vs. Nicki Minaj

Trina and Nicki Minaj appeared on 106&Park at different times Trina promoting her Album, while Nicki promoted her new video "Massive Attack" awhile back. Both styled in Alexander Wang and Versace, who do you think looks better? I'm going to have to go with Nicki on this one, I love Trina/her style, but Nicki appears to look more flattering in the attire.

Fab:Trina

Trina's album dropped yesterday titled 'Amazin' and I had to support her like I have in the past with every album she's released! She was a guest on 106 and park and I just love her Versace booties. These were currently on the runway for Versace's spring 2010 collection. Ciara was also spotted in them about a week ago leaving a restaurant in Beverly Hills, LA. I love odd shoes like these, love them! If you were looking for a less expensive buy http://www.payless.com/ featured Christian Siriano who displayed a collection of shoes starting at $80.00.

David & Goliath ?

j/k at the titile, it was very catchy, lol! If I bet any $, of course it would have to be on Floyd. My favorite boxers have always been Evander Holyfield, Floyd Mayweather and Zab Judah. I wish I could be in Vegas around this time, the last fight in September '09, we missed it by an inch!

Famous Girl.

I decided to write/express my thoughts about an issue that plays a full circle in relationships. The action and option of "exploring" or "testing" the waters to see if the grass is greener on the other side. Usually in the start of relationships, men cheat instead of cheating throughout aswell as cheating in the end. Why do you ask? I personally think that they want to hurry and get the idea of exploring out of they're system so they can try to become fully commited. It seems that men cheat more than women. Women are often left wondering what they did or didn’t do that led their significant other to stray and end up in bed with another. Don't get me wrong women cheat aswell, sometimes more than the male, but as we know "two wrongs don't make a right" and I believe that's why relationships are taking seriously these days anymore.

I was in fully commited relationship with a previous ex that was based on friendship, growth and loyalty. What went wrong? Well, number 1 we were in a long-distant relationship. I vowed to never ever be in one because the connection is so hard to grasp and hold on too. The relationship I had previously gotten into before him failed because of course, the guy cheated. So being open and putting trust back into something I went against, made me develop faith theough the process. The second time around, [x] It didn't work out, why? Because he stated that he couldn't take being apart so he had to end it. I respected that decision and slightly drifted away because I needed time to heal, he wanted to remain friends. We later became more than friends again, because our connection was still tight and while doing so, he decided to test the waters, pushed me away, I decided to stay away.

Sex is mainly a physical connection for a man while women link sex with a much more emotional connection. Men cheat because they do not take their marriage or relationship/commitment serious. I really think that relationships are over-rated in today's society. Another issue that bothers me is men cheating with girls they interact with over the internet. I can't believe it takes one easy slip up to give another girl the benefit of the doubt when you hardly know her at all. How ever many months and years you put into your relationship, it only takes one gulliable move to destroy it?

I have indeed learned how the game plan works with dealing with men and being in relationships. I just don't trust them as far as the eye can see, and because of that I have remained celibated for 4 1/2 years. (That's another topic that will be blogged about), but men, please realize that you guys are fooling no one and only fooling yourself in the end. Men blame Eve, but who do you really think is the one to blame?
