It's the end of the year and I must say 2010 has been a rollercoaster for me. I know 2011 will open many doors that lead to many opportunities. As the year of 2010 comes to an end, I reminisce on my overall performance and what I accomplished this year. The questions I ask myself, "Did I accomplish everything I set out to accomplish?" "What could've I done to make this year better for me?" "Did I learn from my mistakes?" etc... In 10 days, I will be removing elements of negativity from my life. Remember your entire life can change without you having to changeEVERYTHING! Knock the dust off your bucket list and count your blessings, 2011 is my year is it yours?Declare it!

I've been wanting some black leather/suede platform ankle boots for quite some time now and my dear friend Alannah had every pair by Top Shop, which made me lust for them even more. There's alot of inspired re-makes of TopShop shoes which retail for about $150 & up and Jefferey Campbell shoes that retail for $170.00 & up on your favorite websites like forever21, wetseal, makemechic, cutesygirl and others. UPDATE: 12/3/10 I think that celebrities coming together to raise money for a world cause disease is wonderful. For Alicia Keys campaign to raise $ for her charity, Gaga, Kim K, Serena and others came together to raise 1million dollars with a campaign of being digitally dead. No communication with the internet/social networking sites until 1million dollars has been raised. I love the idea, but I honestly thought we would be donating $1.00 instead of $10.00 as a minimum payment. Kim Kardashian has almost 6 million followers and if 1 million gave one dollar, the goal would have been reached. It's been 2 days now and they have only raise $200,000. Maybe they will change the direction of the campaign, if not, it could take a week/more.
Today's the 1st day of the countdown to Christmas. It's my favorite time of the year and I just love the feeling I get during this month. I have a couple things I want for christmas that I will be purchasing for myself. I also love the suprised look on the faces of others when they open their presents. I was browsing for some military inspired boots when I came across a pair off of GoJane. They reminded me of these boots I saw on Beyonce`, Rihanna, Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian by Balmain.
I don't have any boots/shoes in my closet this color, I hope they are as comfortable as they look, you can also pull up the flap for a more lean look, it just depends what look you're going for! I got these boots on sale for $24.80.
I'm writing on the topic of relationships and I wanted to share it with all my readers because WOMEN and of course men all go through some type of heartbreak. My website not only focuses on fashion and politics/current events but all real life situations. I'm going in a whole different direction with my blog because I believe at some point of time real life issues need to br talked about and resolved.
I recently started dating this guy about 3 months ago and I must say he said all the RIGHT things to pull me in, but I missed all the pointers of him being the wrong guy for me.
Situation: Our relationship was long distance, #rule breaker number 1, he flirted with numerous girls via the internet, God knows what else he did because we were far apart, then I confided in him about something that happened in my past that was drastic and he then turned it around and applauded it for happening to me. We broke up, thank goodness because he doesn't deserve me at all, most importantly, I don't need a man to complete me. I talked to a few of my girlfriends and one of them gave me great advice, ladies take note:

I know i'm late but i finally purchased Paris Hilton's CanCan perfume which she launched in 2007. I must say I am so happy with my purchase and the smell is wonderful, literally. I purchased it online without testing the smell, etc and based on every last review i read, It was a must buy! Its so inexpensive and fellas it would make ONE of many christmas gifts (hint).
Keri Hilson drops her album December 21st. I love the theme and the arrangement of the album cover, can't wait! I think i'm stealing some tips from this cover for my photoshoot in December, lets see what I can come up with ;)

The Fall is Finally here!!! I'm so excited because I love the cold, snow, just the chilly weather period. Ive gotten accustomed to it because I've lived in London so many years, it just became normal year round weather. I'm building up my winter collection for my closet and i'm obsessed with boots this Fall as a necessity. Not Uggs, but every boot that's hit the runway. I ordered 2 pair of boots and I can't wait until they are delievered, my bf also bought me 2 pair and a pair of oxford string up flats. What kind of boots will you be wearing this fall? booties, mid-calf, knee-high, snowboots, etc?

About a month and half ago, I was browsing one of my fashionista twitter friend's blog and came across a postParis Hatcherwrote about Crest's3-Dwhitening regimen/products. I was so interested because I heard great reviews on the products, I instantly made a decision. I went out and brought the3-DWhitening products and a a new toothbrush which was originally $128.00. I must say, after only 1 month and a 1/2 Everyone inlcuding me has seen the results. I went to the Orthodontist/Dentist today and I got plenty of compliments. I honestly didn't think it was that noticable, but I guess looking at my teeth everyday, I probably couldn't. Girls it's aMUST HAVE!Very affordable and its worth the smile=)

I'm so excited! This is what I have in store and soon it's time to reveal my style flow. I'm doing a photoshoot on October 16, 2010, for my fashion merchandising/retailing & fashion portfolio. I have created 3 looks and I'm ready to put them on display (: I'm nervous, but overly excited, I can't wait to see how the photos turn out, wish me luck dolls!

I did a previous post on leopard boots that I wanted to find for a bargain for the fall & I found them, purchased them, but when they arrived, the boots couldn't fit my fat cankles, LOL, so I was browsing the net and came across some leopard wedge-booties on http://www.gojane.com/ . They reminded me of a Jefferey Campbell wedge, inexpensive, leopard so I totally fell in love. I received them yesterday and they fit, thank goodness because Leopard is definitely the print hot this FALL!

Today marks the 5th year that the devasting disaster of Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, Louisiana. Half of my family lived there and my mother, sister and I moved to Dallas,Tx exactly one year before Hurricane Katrina tore apart the city of New Orleans.

Hi guys! I hope everyone is well, my site is under construction at the moment, i'm revamping my whole blog, it definitely needs some sort of change, bare with me, stay tuned....
So I did find my leopard boots courtesy of http://www.gojane.com/ The boots were $22.80 and I finally got them delievered, but they can fit, ah! The ankle boots only zip half way, I am so livid. I'm taking them to the shoe repair so they can add stretch to them, because I can't beat this price. Thanks to these FAT ankles, LOL.
